Every browser tool above works on whole pages. Changing the words already printed on them — the actual text objects inside a PDF — needs font reshaping and font-subset embedding. That’s a native-app job.

FAQ
Do you upload my files?
No. There is no upload endpoint on this site. Every tool runs in your browser, and the page’s Content-Security-Policy blocks outbound connections entirely. You can verify it: open DevTools → Network and run any tool.
Is it really free?
The 12 browser tools are free, with no account and no watermark. The Android app will be free to read, annotate and organize; text editing, OCR and PDF-to-Word are paid features.
Can the browser tools edit the text inside a PDF?
No — browsers can add text boxes on top, but replacing the original text needs font reshaping and font-subset embedding. That’s what PDFMason for Android does.
Can the browser tools open password-protected PDFs?
No. We block encrypted files rather than risk producing a broken result. The Android app can open them with the password.
Do the tools work offline?
Yes, once a tool page has loaded it keeps working without a connection — the processing happens on your device, not on a server.
What are the limits?
Files up to 100 MB, encrypted files refused with a clear message, and scanned pages stay images unless you run OCR in the Android app. The full list is on the About page.
