Questions

iPhone version

PDFMason is Android-only today. Leave your email and we will tell you once, when the iPhone version ships — nothing else, ever.

One email when the iPhone version ships. Nothing else, ever.

Is PDFMason free?
Yes. Every feature is free during early access, with no account and no ads.
Do my files get uploaded?
No. Editing, conversion, OCR, redaction and compression all run on your phone. There is no PDFMason server to send files to — the same rule as the browser tools on this site.
Which phones does it run on?
Any phone or tablet on Android 8.0 or newer, and it works offline once installed. The 12 browser tools on this site run in any desktop or mobile browser.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. PDFMason for Android is available today, and an iPhone version is in planning. Leave your email on the download page and we will tell you once, when it ships.
Can the browser tools edit the text inside a PDF?
PDFMason’s browser tools do not replace existing PDF text. Other editors differ: check whether they rewrite text objects or add an overlay. PDFMason for Android edits the original text locally and is available on Google Play.
How do I update?
Updates come through Google Play like any other app — the Play Store tells you when a new version is out, and you can turn on automatic updates.
Where are my saved files?
In the Documents/PDFEditor/ folder on your phone by default, or wherever you choose in the save dialog. Files never leave the device.
