Extract always produces exactly one new PDF containing the pages you picked, in their original order. That is the difference from Split: Split can emit several files at once, Extract answers the narrower question "how do I save just these pages as one document?". Both tools share the same page-copying engine underneath.

Pick pages by clicking thumbnails, or type a range like 3-7 in the box — whichever is faster for the job. A signature page pulled out of a contract, or one chapter pulled out of a report, becomes a standalone file whose text is still selectable and whose links still work. Pages you did not pick are simply not copied.

The output is named after your file, with the page numbers appended — report-pages-3-7.pdf — so a folder of extracts stays readable. Your original file is never modified: extraction writes a new document and leaves the source exactly as it was on your disk.

Everything runs on your machine: the file is read into the tab, the chosen pages are copied into a new document by a worker, and the result downloads — with outbound connections blocked at the policy level, so there is nothing to switch off and nothing to trust. The page count of the source is known the moment the file is opened, which is why the range box can validate 3-7 against a five-page document before anything runs.

Extract sits between two other tools, deliberately. When one contiguous run of pages is all you need, Split by range does the same thing. When the pages need editing — a date changed, a paragraph replaced — that is beyond every browser tool on this site, and the Android app's text editing is built for exactly that next step. Extract's job is the narrow one: the same pages, alone, in one clean file.

The one-page case is the most common: a signed signature page must go to a different department than the rest of the contract. Open the contract, type 12 in the range box, press Extract, send contract-pages-12.pdf — a clean single page with the signature, its date and its witness line, none of the surrounding clauses, and nothing re-typed. For scattered pages the grid does the same job by hand: click page 3, page 9, page 17, and the output carries all three in order. Either way the original contract stays whole on disk, and the department gets exactly the page it asked for and nothing more.

How it works

Why use Extract PDF Pages on PDFMason

Nothing is uploaded

The original file stays on your device, untouched.

No account, no limits

No sign-up, no daily file cap, no watermark on the result.

Grid or range

Click thumbnails or type a range — whichever is faster for you.

Works offline

Once the page is loaded, you can turn off Wi-Fi and it still works.

Grid or range, your choice

Click thumbnails for scattered pages, type 3-7 for a run. Both work on the same document; the range box wins when it has content.

Links stay, bookmarks trim

Links on the extracted pages keep working. Outline entries pointing outside the extracted range are dropped.

Naming tells the story

The output name carries the page numbers — report-pages-3-7.pdf — so extracts remain identifiable in a folder.

The original is safe

Extraction writes a new file. Nothing is removed from, or written to, your source document.

One file, always

Extract never produces a ZIP — the selected pages land in a single PDF in their original order, named with the page numbers.

Scattered pages stay in order

Grid selections keep document order, not click order — page 17 clicked before page 3 still extracts as 3 then 17.

Extract PDF Pages FAQ

Do you upload my files?
No. There is no upload endpoint on this site. Every tool runs in your browser using WebAssembly, and the page’s Content-Security-Policy blocks outbound connections entirely. You can verify it: open DevTools → Network and run the tool.
How do I save just one page of a PDF?
Type the page number in the range box — “4” produces a one-page PDF — or click that page in the grid and press Extract.
Does extracting keep the original quality?
Yes. Pages are copied, not re-encoded. Text stays selectable and images keep their original data.
Do links and bookmarks survive?
Links on the extracted pages survive. Bookmarks that point outside the extracted range are dropped.
What happens to the original file?
Nothing. It stays on your device, untouched.
