Signing here means placing a picture of your signature on the page — drawn with mouse or finger, uploaded as an image, or typed in a handwriting style. Draw gives you a blank strip and a black pen, exactly like signing paper. Upload takes your existing signature image. Type renders your name in one of three handwriting typefaces, embedded with the page and licensed for exactly this use.

The signature is yours for the length of the tab: drag it anywhere on any page, then download the signed file. It is not stored — close the tab and it is gone, by design. The Android app keeps signatures in an encrypted vault behind biometric unlock if you want to reuse one.

One boundary stated plainly: this is not a cryptographic digital signature. It places an image on a page; whether a picture is acceptable depends on your jurisdiction and the other party. Many everyday agreements accept it, but for anything formal, check what is required before you rely on it.

The signature you draw or upload is rasterized into the page as an image object and the signed PDF is written locally — read, place, write, download, all inside the tab with outbound connections blocked by policy. There is no account, no stored signature, no audit trail on a server; the strongest privacy statement available is structural: nothing was ever sent, so nothing can leak.

Where this tool stops: it does not encrypt the file, it does not timestamp the signature, and it does not verify identity — a picture on a page. For contracts that demand more, cryptographic signing services exist and cost money for good reasons. This page is for the large honest middle of everyday paperwork where a drawn signature, placed precisely, is exactly what the counterparty asked for.

The rental agreement is the archetype: the landlord sends a PDF, you draw your signature once — two seconds of pen — and drag it to the line above your printed name on page 6. Download lease-signed.pdf and return it. The signature was never stored, the document never uploaded, and the landlord receives a PDF that opens exactly as sent, with your name on the line. The result card confirms the placement count and the output name, so what you send is what you checked.
