Organize PDF

Organize is the complete page editor of the browser tools: reorder by dragging thumbnails, rotate pages in 90-degree steps, duplicate a page, or remove it — all on one screen, all before anything is written. Nothing touches your original file until you press Save; every change lives in the page list you see.

The list is honest about what it does. Dragging reorders entries, not the file on disk. Rotating turns the preview immediately and is written into the page when you save, so every reader — including printers — shows the same orientation. Duplicating creates a second copy of the page you can move anywhere, which is the usual fix for a form that needs to be filled twice.

Undo-friendly by construction: you can revert any step, and abandoning the page abandons everything. When you do save, the tool writes a new file named after your original with -edited appended, and reports the final page count on the result card. The Android app extends the same idea with inserting pages from another PDF.

The workbench is a live model of the output, held in memory: your file on disk is only read, and only ever read. When you press Save, the model is written out as one new PDF; the source keeps its original order, rotations and page set untouched. Between upload and download there is no server hop to reason about — the tab's security policy forbids outbound requests, and the file never exists anywhere but this machine.

Organize is deliberately a page tool, not a content tool. It will not fix a typo, crop a page, or deskew a scan — pages move, turn, copy and disappear, and that is all. The undo-friendly draft model means experimenting is free: duplicate the title page, rotate the landscape table, reverse a section, and if the arrangement is wrong, keep adjusting — nothing is written until the button is pressed.

A board pack is the classic job: minutes, three appendices, then the signature page that originally sat first. Drop the pack in, drag the signature page to the end, duplicate the budget appendix because two boards need initials, rotate the landscape chart that came in sideways, delete the blank separator pages, and save board-pack-edited.pdf. Fifteen structural fixes, one screen, one new file — and the original pack still on disk if the board wants the old order back. The tool reports the final page count on the result card, so the pack that goes out is the pack you meant.
